The Sir William Dunn Scholars' programme brings to the Unit internationally recognised scientists in the fields of research of mitochondria and bioenergetics, for a minimum period of one week, up to a maximum period of one year. The Scholar is provided with an office and, where appropriate, laboratory facilities to work collaboratively within one of the Unit's research groups. The Scholar is expected to be available for discussion with Unit members at times during office hours, to interact with the student body, and to deliver at least two lectures in the Unit on topics of the Scholar's choosing. During the period of the Scholarship, the Scholar is remunerated at Professorial level.
