The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrum of mitochondrial complex I (red, modelled, and black, experimental) was deconvoluted into four component spectra (blue, grey, magenta and green lines) from different iron-sulphur clusters.  The component spectra were assigned to the structurally defined clusters as shown.
