Martin King nominated for an MRC CEO Award

The MRC's CEO Award Scheme recognises contributions from employees for outstanding effort and commitment to both their work and the MRC as an organisation.

Martin King, a postdoctoral scientist in the MBU's Mitochondrial Carriers group, was nominated for an award in the Public Engagement category.   As the runner up in this category, Martin was invited to an awards ceremony at Head Office in London, but was not able to attend due to holiday commitments.  So today, on behalf of the MRC's Chief Executive, Sir John Savill, the MBU's Director, Professor Massimo Zeviani, presented Martin with his prize of a Kindle Fire, along with a letter of commendation.

Many congratulations to Martin!
