The Lily Foundation is sponsoring a full PhD fellowship allowing further research into the delivery of therapeutic proteins into muscle and brain tissues in a murine model of mitochondrial disease, which will serve as vital information in pre-clinical trials.
This work is being carried out in our Mitochondrial Genetics research group, led by Dr Michal MInczuk and the Lily-sponsored student is Pavel Nash. Further information about this poject can be found on The Lily Foundation website.
